Sports Ambassadors

Welcome to our Bronze Sports Ambassadors page!

Let's meet the team!

What do we do?

With the support of school staff and Active Sir Gar officers, our role is to provide opportunities to develop pupils' physical and sporting skills.

We want to get pupils as active as possible, through organised fun games and activities, delivered by us during our break times, lunch times, and sometimes in our class PE lessons!

A typical week may look like this:

What makes a good sports ambassador?

In our role, we need to be...

organised

approachable

patient

good communicators

passionate about sport!

What have we been up to?

Our Sports Ambassadors have undertaken BA Module 1 online training. This module has helped our Sports Ambassadors to learn about their role, and the skills they will need to carry it out effectively.

We've had a visit from Hayley Lewis from the ActifSport team, who came into school to watch and help our Year 6 Bronze Ambassador pupils deliver a sport session to our Years 5 and 6 pupils.

Our Year 5 Bronze Ambassadors were part of a special celebration at Pembrey Country Park, and received certificates on behalf of the school's Bronze Ambassadors for their contribution to helping and delivering sport to the pupils of our school.
